Slumber my darling.

The best part of my day, I couldn't capture in a picture.

You have a little cough, you don't feel quite right. So I rocked you as I fed you your warm milk and we listened to your lullaby's together. And then you fell asleep against my chest listening to me sing to you. Your stuffed up nose made you start to gently snore as you lay heavy against me. Your growing legs slung to the side, your ear pressed against my heart, your arms crossed in front of yours. Your warm, growing body wrapped in your snuggly jammies makes me warm too. As you cough I gently pat your tiny back and wish you would never get sick but I secretly love this rare cuddle and sleeping boy leaning against me. It seems we are both wishing this dark quiet room would stay forever.
